| I started putting the odd
advertisement from Customers on my Front Page some time ago, but as this has become more
popular my Front Page was becoming too large so I have created this NEW section for
Customers Advertisements. I will include advertisements from any individual (NOT TRADE) as long as it is associated with Radios or Radio Parts at no cost. I only ask that you let me know when your advertisement has been satisfied so that I can remove it. All advertisements will be removed after approx. six months, so if you require it to be renewed then please drop me an e-mail. WARNING It has been brought to my attention by quite a few Customers that have placed advertisements on this site, that a person or persons purporting to be interested in buying the items advertised are effecting a scam in offering to purchase the goods if the Customer is prepared to cash a cheque for them (usually for considerably more than the cost of the item) In some instances there has been a cash incentive to do the above, in others just the request to pass the excess remaining cash back to them. In all cases that have been brought to my attention, the cheques have bounced. |

FOR SALE I have been contacted by Lynda with a request to post the following: Regentone Radio A353/2 (at least I think that this is the model) · This Regentone radio was bought by my parents, soon after they got married which would have been in the late 1940’s. · It is my understanding that the radio was released in 1949, which ties in with the information above. · The radio doesn’t work, but I recall my mother (when she was alive) had a local radio technician look at it for her. He said that a valve needed to be replaced but he couldn’t get the valve. · This is as much as I know about the working condition of the radio. · To the best of my knowledge all parts etc. are original. · I would describe the overall condition as good given the age of the radio. WANTED I have been contacted by David with a request to post the following: Wanted - Rediffusion cable TV set This is a TV designed for the old HF cable system dating back to the 1950s and in use until the 1980s. These TVs have no tuner and the sound side is just a volume control, transformer and speaker. They were also known as 'Terminal Units'. Good price paid for a complete example. Brand names include Rediffusion, Doric, Bush, Ferguson, HMV and Ultra and probably others.
